Fall Leadership Conferences support the SkillsUSA mission by educating and engaging members with SkillsUSA knowledge, activities and breakout sessions that support continued growth in the 17 Essential Elements, and providing students and advisors the opportunity to engage with other members.

9:30am- 11:45am: Opening sessions, candidate speeches, statesmen award and delegate voting and breakout sessions.

Statesman Award

The SkillsUSA Statesman Award is presented to members who demonstrate SkillsUSA knowledge, along with an understanding of the SkillsUSA Framework and how to articulate their personal experience in career and technical education.

The Statesman Award is the highest individual honor a state can bestow on an individual member.

There are only a few times a year that a SkillsUSA Oklahoma member may earn their statesmen award. State Officers will be available for members during the conference to earn their Statesman.

Officer Elections and Voting Delegates

Postsecondary state officer elections will occur at the PS FLC on October 25th, 2024.  The officers elected during the conference will serve their term October 2024 to October 2025.  Each chapter attending will have the opportunity to cast their votes based on their postsecondary membership at time of conference.

Voting delegate numbers are calculated by:

Postsecondary (adult): The number of delegates shall be two per chartered school plus one for each 50 active members above and beyond the first 50, plus one for 100 percent of the total possible membership as defined in Article IV, Section 3. Each school must have either its delegate or its alternate delegate vote at the state election.

Merch Table

During the conference we will have a small merch table with some SkillsUSA items for sale.  The table will be cash only and first come first served. Possible items include t-shirts, mugs, drawstring bags and red polos.  Money from sales will go back into SkillsUSA Oklahoma general funds to support events and activities.
