Members and leaders from around the state, representing 6 different districts, will ascend on the campus of Southern Nazarene University, June 9th-13th, to experience a fun filled 4 night, 5 day experience focused around everything SkillsUSA. We are excited to have you join us as we explore what it means to be a SkillsUSA member, plan for the upcoming year in your district and make friendships that could last a lifetime. Don’t wait, there are only 200 spots available for this event and you don’t want to miss out.

Preparing for SLI
Below you will find additional information and forms to help you prepare for your SLI experience. It is important that all participants attending SLI please review and complete the Liability and Code of Conduct/Dress Policy forms. Forms will need to be turned in at SLI registration.
SLI Agenda— Camping Schedule
- Check in will be Sunday, June 9th at 2pm at Hills Residence Hall. Please enter the building on the south and check in at the 1st floor lobby.
- District night will be Sunday, June 9th.
Tips for a great SLI experience:
- We will be having both indoor and outdoor activities so please dress comfortably but remember to follow the dress code. There are activities where students may get dirty so pack accordingly.
- Don’t forget your sunscreen and sun glasses… it is June in Oklahoma!
- Close toed shoes or tennis shoes are important for outdoor activities and games.
- Don’t leave your reusable water bottle at home. With all the excitement you will be having it is important to hydrate.
- Bring a notebook and something to write with. You will be learning so much in your sessions you will for sure want to write it down.
- Come with an open mind and willingness to give this experience a try. Jump in and have fun.
Packing list
Each person has different items they find important on a trip. Please use the packing list as a double check to make sure you are bringing what you need.
- Bedding/Towels: SNU does not supply linens or towels for housing rooms. It is the responsibility of the attendee to have these materials for the conference. The beds at SNU are twin extra long.
- Temperature: We can not guarantee the temperate outside or inside the buildings during the conference. If you run cold we encourage you to pack a jacket or hoodie for the conference. Participants can not change the temperate inside their housing rooms at the conference.
Required Forms:
- Liability Form– Each conference participant is required to have liability form on file.
- Code of Conduct and Dress Code Policy– Each conference participant is required to have form on file.
