NLSC Town Hall Meetings
SkillsUSA Advisors! Whether this is your first trip to the SkillsUSA NLSC, or you are a veteran of the conference, we invite you to the NLSC Town Hall. In the session we will review the NLSC schedule, what to expect, traveling tips, and best practices from experienced advisors. This Town Hall will solidify your preparations for Atlanta.

Things to keep in mind as you prepare to travel:
- Venues and restaurants around/at the conference center are cashless, please plan accordingly.
- Bags at the General Session and Awards Session- Bags larger then 14 x 14 x 6 and water/drink bottles are prohibited. No backpacks will be allowed in the arena. If you need to take an item in with your please make sure it meets size requirements.
- Download the NLSC app for the conference to see agendas and up to date information.
- What to wear? Weather at NLSC can vary day to day, we encourage you to check the weather before packing. Sunscreen, light jacket/umbrella, good walking shoes and refillable water bottle are all things to consider packing. Also, double check your technical standards for contest clothing requirements. Double check you packed your official dress.

Registration and Hotels
Accommodation Needs- If a conference attendee is need of accommodation support while at NLSC it is important to make those requests inside the registration system while registering. If accommodations are needed after registration is closed you can use the online form . Learn more about accessibility and accommodations by watching this video
REGISTRATION
Conference registration will be $305 per person. This does not include the cost of hotel stay.
- Cancellations/No Refunds
There are no refunds or registration extensions after deadline. - All schools must have payment for NLSC in full submitted to SkillsUSA Oklahoma by May 30th, 2025.
All conference participants attending NLSC require badge credentials. Registration will open to the public beginning May 19,2025. The registration link will be available on the national SkillsUSA Website.
HOTELS
Oklahoma Delegation will be staying at the Hilton Atlanta. Technology centers/chapters are responsible for booking their own hotel rooms for their members and paying hotel directly for stay.
Helpful Reminders for Hotel Booking:
- Once a reservation is created, through the system, rooms can not be added to it. If you need to add rooms a new reservation via Passkey will have to be made.
- Have all attendees’ names/roommate assignments ready prior to starting the housing process. All names are required to be put in to Passkey at time of reservation.
- A master acknowledgement will arrive in your email after completing reservation. Double check your junk folder if you don’t get the email.
Reminders: Check payments must be at the hotel 14 days prior to arrival. If paying by credit card please reach out directly to hotel for payment link.

Competition Information
As you prepare for NLSC make sure you are aware of all of the important rules and regulations. It is the responsibility of the contestant to make sure they are abiding by all policies/rules/regulations of SkillsUSA for NLSC.

- Shipping contest materials– Do you need to ship contest items ahead of time? Learn more about shipping/delivery pick up for contest materials.
Remember: Please make sure you are double checking your contest technical for clothing requirements prior to leaving for NLSC. Don’t lose clothing points for having the wrong socks, shoes, pants, etc… Clothing assessments will be done prior to your contest starting.

- Complete Required Online Submission(s) in your contestant portals. Based on your specific contests areas.
- Complete Your Online Test(s)
- Check for Competition Updates

- Online testing guidelines and timelines. Please read carefully.
